Q: What hours are the plants open for pickup of my trailer?
A: In general, all of the plants have pickup hours from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM M-F. Our 6 dealership centers are open 9:00 AM to
6:00 PM M-F and Saturdays until 3 pm (noon off season).
Q: Do I have to wait for a sales person to call me, once I have requested more information?
A: No, not at all. Usually a sales person will contact you within 48 hours of your submitting for additional information, however, please feel free to call our toll free number, 1-989-427-2715, and speak to a sales person right away.
Q: How does the buying process work?
A: It's simple, after you have spoken to a sales person, and decided on the perfect trailer for your needs, the process is as follows: 1. Give us a 10% non-refundable down payment (we accept most major credit cards) 2. Upon completion of your trailer, we will notify you, and schedule a pick up at the plant for you. 3. Pick up your trailer and pay the balance at the plant.
Q: I want a trailer, but can I have it delivered?
A: YES! Your USA Trailer sales rep can arrange to have your trailer delivered to you. We use a 3rd party shipping company, and your trailer will need to be paid in full before the trailer is shipped out to you. Additionally, some shippers will require direct payment from you, the customer, for the delivery fee. Please check with your sales person for details.
Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: USA Trailer collects sales tax on only Michigan trailer purchases. Taxes on trailers vary state to state, your state may charge tax when you register your trailer. Please check with your state, for tax information.
Q: Is financing available?
A: Yes, we have several financing options available, please call our toll free number and speak to a salesperson for details. Unfortunately you must pick up your trailer to take advantage of this offer at one of your six store locations.
Q: I have a warranty issue, who do I call?
A: IF YOU HAVE ANY WARRANTY NEEDS, PLEASE CALL USA TRAILER FOR COMPLETE SUPPORT. TRAILERS WE SELL HAVE A NATIONWIDE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN WORKING WITH US CUSTOMERS AFTER THE SALE ON WARRANTY WORK. THAT IS WHY YOU CALL INTERNET-TRAILER WITH YOUR WARRANTY PROBLEM. WE WILL DIRECT YOU ON SOLUTIONS. DO NOT CALL THE FACTORY DIRECTLY.
Q: What payment forms are acceptable at the plant, when I pick up my trailer?
A: The only forms of final payment that are acceptable are Certified Checks, Cashier's Checks, or Money Orders. ALL SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO USA TRAILERS. They are unable to accept credit cards, cash, or personal checks at the plant. Please plan accordingly. ANY OTHER PAYMENT WILL BE REJECTED BY THE PLANT, AND YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO PICK UP YOUR NEW TRAILER.
Q: What will I need besides payment to pick up my trailer at the factory?
A: The correct size ball, insert and pin. Safety pin or bolt for coupler. Correct size light plug in working order. The factory in NO way will supply or assist you with any of these items.
